Thanksgiving

I am so thankful for this time of year!! I LOVE everything about it!! I love that it always helps me to remember all the many things I'm blessed with, both big and small. It helps me remember that life is so good if we choose to see the positive in our situations. I love seeing all the fun decorations, being with my family, seeing the excitement of my children talking about Santa, remembering the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, serving others, the cool air, yummy food, and remembering just how lucky I am to have the family I do, my good husband, live in a free country, true friends, wonderful parents, and the gift of good health.

Happy Thanksgiving!! I love the quote below, and it's truly what this time of year is all about.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
