Daddy Daughter Date

Lexi and Cody had a daddy daughter day together, and Lexi was so happy when she came home. Cody works a lot some weeks, so whenever he is home the kids have so much fun playing with him. One of Lexi's favorite places to go is to the mall, so she can see the dogs at the pet store, The Disney Store, Build A Bear, and play at the indoor playground. Cody took her to get a Jamba Juice and they gave her a little cup of her own. She felt so special, and she couldn't stop telling me how much fun she had with her daddy. All week she kept asking when we could go back to the mall, and she found out Cody was going to have a day off she immediately said "I want to go to the mall!" Cody enjoys being with his kids and it is fun for me just to have one on one with the one at home. He wants to make this a monthly thing, and I think Lexi and Trey are really going to enjoy it.

P.S. I got your message...We haven't heard back from the Church yet. Everyday I check the mailbox and everyday I'm disappointed. Oh, well. It will happen when it's supposed to. The paperwork has been sent, so I guess it's more of a waiting game. It sucks, though, 'cause Satan has been working pretty hard on our family. Hopefully we can make it! :); March 7, 2009 at 7:34 PM

Every Saturday HAllee and Cody go and wsh the cars togetherand it usually takes a couple of hours b/c he does both but even that is a good little break for me and Hallee can't seem to get enough of her dad! She is totally in love with him and that is opkay with meb/c I think Carter has a pretty big crush on his mom! :) It is fun for hem to have one on one time with each parent IthinK!; March 8, 2009 at 8:29 AM

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
