Happy Mother's Day A Little Late

I just wanted to take a few minutes and dedicate a post to my beautiful mom, and one of my very best friends. I didn't get a chance to really let her and my mother in law know how much I love and appreciate them. I always knew growing up that I had the best mom around and also one of the hardest working people I know. Her whole life was dedicated to her children and helping them to succeed. I hope I can be half the mom and woman that she is in my life. I don't know what I ever did to be so blessed to be her daughter. We are so much alike and I hope she will always know that she is my #1. Thanks mom for giving up so much to give me such a great life. You have taught me so many great values, and without your example I wouldn't be where I am today.

I also want to thank my mother in law for everything she has done for our family. She raised such a selfless, hardworking, spiritual, and wonderful man. I know that these qualities Cody has come from his good mom, and I just want to thank her for all the hard work she has put in raising such good sons. Thank you for taking time out to help us move to Arizona and it has been so much fun being with you on our journey.

I love you both so much and I hope you know how wonderful you are. I have learned so much from you and I hope you know how much you are loved!!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
