HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

We had a fun 4th of July and Lexi loved watching the "pop pops," as she would say. We had a big barbecue with our friends and then went downtown to see the big show. Indianapolis always puts on a great show and we are so blessed to live in this great country. We are so thankful for our country and grateful for all the troops throughout the world.

The whole night she kept saying "pop pop," and "boom boom."
She definitely brings a smile to our face everyday. We absolutely love
her to pieces!!

Sarah Romer said...: What cute pictures! And so many! I loved seeing all the pics of your fam, and all the nieces and nephews. I had no idea your parents had so many grandchildren. How fun! I'm jealous of all your fun trips. I don't think we'll be doing any of that for oh, say...the next 5 years, atleast! :) Ohwell, it will be worth it in the end. Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
