Ogden Temple Open house

It was so neat being able to go to the Ogden Temple open house. They remodeled this temple, and it's taken quite awhile for them to finish it! I'm so thankful we were home visiting during the open house! It was the temple Cody and I both went to as youth growing up, and also the temple we both took out our endowments, so it was neat to take our own children inside! It's so beautiful and I'm thankful our children were able to see the inside. I hope they will always know what a deep testimony their dad and I both have of temples, and the work that goes on inside. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing and going inside these beautiful temples. I love how each are so unique. I'm so thankful to be sealed to Cody, my children, and all of the rest of my family for eternity! I love the temple, and I'm so excited to be able to go through the temple with Cody again our next visit home.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
