Before we left Arizona we wanted to have one last fun day with our good friends and neighbors! My friend let me use their splash pad in their neighborhood to celebrate Korvers birthday with a few of our friends! The kids had so much fun and it was the perfect thing to do in the hot hot heat! Korver loved all of his Monster's University gifts! All Korver wanted to do for his birthday was go and see Monster's University at the movie theatre. He had been talking about it for weeks, and was so excited to go!! He loves to go to the movie theatre, it's probably his favorite thing to do!!
We took the kids to the store and let them pick out something they could remember each other by. It was so cute watching them. They wanted matching stuffed animals. Lexi still sleeps with her "Natalie, and Bella" bears. I'm grateful for the great friends they made. They still talk about them and miss them so much!!
The last day before we left we bought doughnuts and let all the kids play at the park one last time. It was really sad to say goodbye and watch the kids give one last hug. I think I was just as sad as they were to give my friends and neighbors one last hug too! It was a sad day, but we're so grateful for the friendships we made. We were definitely blessed while we were in Arizona, and to this day there is no doubt in my mind Heavenly Father helped place us at our home in Arizona. The neighbors and friends we made on our street were so awesome!
