Lexi had an experience a few weeks ago that I didn't want to forget. It was the first time she recognized feeling the spirit on her own. It was such a sweet and tender time when she told Cody and I. She was so excited to tell us about it, and she looked so sweet while telling us. We were getting in the car at church, and she said, "mom today I felt the spirit. We were singing the song in primary called Heavenly Father Loves Me, and I felt a really good feeling." We told her to remember that feeling, because it feels good and it's Heavenly Father's way of communicating with us.
