To celebrate Cody's birthday we headed to Las Vegas :)!! He had a dental course he had to take and it just happened to fall on the weekend of his birthday! The kids were excited to stay in a hotel, go swimming, and see their cousins!! We were excited for a fun weekend with Todd and Rikki, celebrating Cody's birthday, and a fun break out of Arizona. It was a lot of fun!! Rikki and Todd were nice enough to take our kids one night so Cody and I could enjoy going out to eat, to a show in Vegas, and a night alone without the kiddos! It was so much fun and we appreciate them offering to do this:). We sure love them, and it was such a fun night together!!
The show I took Cody to was called the Vegas Variety Show. It was really cool! It had all different kinds of performers that had been on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen, and America's Got Talent! The performers were so much fun to watch and pretty amazing!! We also went out with just Todd and Rikki one night! We went to Country Jam Fest featuring a bunch of different country artists, and out to dinner. It was so much fun, and Todd and Rikki always keep us laughing:). I think the high light of the trip was the M&M store and movie, IHop, and going swimming. It doesn't take much to entertain the kids, and the littlest things make them so happy. Its fun to travel with them, and watch how excited they get about seeing new places!!
Happy birthday to Cody!! We sure love him, and we're thankful he's our dad and husband!!
