Lexi's dance recital

Lexi had her hip hop dance recital, and she was so excited to perform. She has loved her teacher this year, and was always excited to go to dance every week! She loves dancing, but as she would say, "only to the fast music!" I thought she would get up there and be shy, but she wasn't at all. After the performance she told us, "I love being up there dancing in front of everyone, it's so much fun!" She did a great job and didn't even act embarrassed. Her two best friends came to cheer her on and she was excited. Bella brought her a rose to congratulate her :). I love their mom's too! They are great friends to me as well. In the fall we have Lexi signed up with the same hip hop teacher, but she also wants to do volleyball. I'm excited she is interested in doing sports too:)! She see's the volleyball players every time we take Trey to soccer and wants to do it so bad!!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
