Lexi lost her first tooth!!

Lexi has been dying to lose her first tooth, and for months has been asking me when she will lose a tooth. A couple of weeks ago she kept telling Cody and I that her tooth was hurting, so he checked it a few times to see if she had a cavity. We told her things looked great, but right before bed she told us something felt funny in her mouth. Cody looked in her mouth, and her bottom tooth was hanging there. He barely tugged on it, and it came right out!! Lexi was so brave and excited to leave it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. She wanted to make sure the tooth fairy left her tooth, but still brought some money. She was excited to keep her tooth, and the tooth fairy left her a note with some money! Now, she keeps asking when she will lose her next tooth. She wants to grow up so fast, and I keep telling her to just enjoy being 5. She was pretty excited that she was the very first grandchild to lose her tooth first! They are so fun at this age, and it helps you appreciate and remember how great it was to be a kid.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
