Trey's first fish/ Lexi's movie day with friends

Ever since father's and sons, Trey has been asking Cody for a fishing pole. My sweet mother in law decided to surprise the kids with a package (which they loved), and sent Trey a spider man fishing pole!! He was SO excited!! He could not wait to go and use it. Cody promised him they would go, and so he took him and Korver fishing last Saturday. Trey caught 3 fish!! He was so excited and proud of himself. They had a fun time! Cody is such a good dad to Trey, and Trey loves doing stuff with him! They took Korver so Lexi and I could go to the movies with some of our friends. Lexi was so excited to go to the movies with her two best friends, and I got to go to with two of my best friends! We took the girls to Judy Moody, and they had such a fun time. Stephanie and Claudia just happen to be my neighbors, and I love them so much! It was nice to go with just the girls, and let Lexi have a fun afternoon with her friends. It always makes the kids feel special when we take them for one on one time. I'm glad Lexi has such good friends that she loves to be with, and it's nice that they live right next door to us!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
