grandma and grandpa Belnap come for a visit

My grandparents came down last week for a visit, and also to have Cody work on their teeth! We got some yummy fresh veggies from their garden out of the visit, so that was nice.
We had so much fun hanging out with them and visiting. They have always been the best examples to me, and I love them so much. I have so many great memories with them, and I couldn't ask for better grandparents. We were so glad they came down to stay. I have to say my grandpa has an even better smile now!! Cody had him in the chair all day one day, but six crowns later his mouth looks great!
On the last night Cody took my grandpa to the Diamondbacks baseball game. My grandpa loves sports, but he had never been to a professional game! He was so excited to go to a game in person, and my grandma said it was the highlight of his trip.

Anonymous said...: I am so glad that Mom and Dad made the trip. Not too many great grandparents would be in the pool with the kids. These pictures will be treasures! Thanks so much to Cody for all his hard work! He must be a GREAT dentist to have someone be able to have 7 hrs. of dental work in one day! Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
