Grandma and Grandpa Smiths house

We went to stay with my parents for a week after Bear Lake. It was so relaxing and fun to hang out back home in Evanston! Sometimes I miss the small town feel, and it was so nice to enjoy the cool air. Trey LOVED being there because he knew he would get as many 4-wheeler rides as his little heart desired! He even knows which key goes to each 4-wheeler. Lexi loves all of grandmas books and puzzles. Korver was just happy to be outside where it wasn't hot!! He was such a great baby on our trip, and everyone loved giving his big chunky cheeks a kiss!!

We appreciate both Cody and I's parents so much. They are wonderful people and going home for visits is always so much fun. Thanks for always making our kids feel so special! They love one on one time with their grandparents.

Anonymous said...: We loved having you here and believe me, our home was way too quiet and empty when you left. The kids were so much fun and you would never know you had a new born because Korver never cries! That is the ONLY good thing about you kids living away, is the times that you visit or we visit you and having one on one time with each family. Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
