Rainforest Cafe

Every year the past couple of years our anniversary always seems to fall right when we are coming home from Christmas vacation. This year we had Cody's family here, so we had the chance to spend it with Kip and Kajsa. They felt bad, but it was so much fun hanging out with them before they drove back to Texas. We had been so busy over Christmas, that it was fun to eat some good food at the Rainforest Cafe, and spend the night watching movies and relaxing with Cody. Cody got me some really pretty roses, and Lexi loves them. She has been commenting everyday how pretty the "rosies" are, as she would call them.
We decided that the Rainforest Cafe would be a fun place to take the kids and spend the afternoon. The kids absolutely loved it and the food was pretty good. If you've never been there, it's pretty cool because all of the animals move, and they make real life sounds. It was a fun afternoon of food and shopping with Kip, Kajsa, and their girls. Thanks for making the trip to come and see us!! It was fun sharing our anniversary with you guy. Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister in law Rikki. Her birthday is on our anniversary, so it is easy for me to remember! We love you Rikki!

Cody is a great guy and he is SO lucky to habe such a beautiful wife! Not only on the outside but on the inside as well. The rainforest cafe is fun. Thats where Alexs wedding dinner was!!! Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
