Our #1 Man

So, it might come as a bit of a surprise that we are once again back home in Wyoming and Utah for a few days. The kids and I came home for our family reunion we have every year at Bear Lake. We have missed it the last couple of years so we decided to make the trip home this year for it. It seems like we have been home a lot this summer, but you can't beat spending time with family. If I have to be away from my own home, my other favorite place to be is with family. This time we are missing one BIG piece....Cody!! I'm missing my sweet husband a lot this trip and wish so badly he could be with us. He had to stay home and work, so I thought we'd let him know how much he is missed. Life just isn't the same when he's not around. I miss talking with him, being with him, kissing him, watching him play with the kids, and just being together as a family. So I hope he knows that he the #1 man in our life, and we just want to give a big THANK YOU for all of his hard work. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stay home with our kids and loving me unconditionally. We MISS YOU TONS!!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
