VEGAS!

We took a trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago for some FUN alone time!! It was so much fun and very relaxing.  Cody and I have a goal to get away just the two of us at least once a year!! We both think it's so important to have time to talk, hang out, and just have fun together! It helps you reconnect, and get away from all the business of everyday life.  It's not always easy to talk when you are out rangling 3 little kiddos under 6!  We love our kids to pieces, but its great for our relationship to do something with just each other!  My great sister in law that lives in Vegas offered to take the kids, and they had a blast together.  We knew they were in good hands, so we enjoyed ourselves. 

We stayed at the Planet Hollywood Towers west gate! It was such a beautiful hotel, and it doesn't have a casino or allow any smoking, which was awesome! We stayed on the 51st floor, and our room was only glass on one side, so you could see the whole city!! It was so cool at night, and beautiful with all the lights! We saw a show in Vegas, did some shopping, enjoyed Serendipity, good food, SLEEPING IN, and even got to go to the dolphin and tiger exhibit with our kids, Todd, Rikki, and their boys!  It was so fun taking the kids there, and it was so cool seeing all the different cats and dolphins so close.  

One thing that was so great was being able to talk to Cody so much.  Every restaurant we went to, we would sit and talk for at least an hour.  You forget how much you have to talk about, and one night at 11 pm we walked down to Serendipity just to get a frozen hot chocolate!  I'm thankful for Cody and he is the best husband and friend!  I'm so thankful he is mine, and grateful for how sweet and caring he is:)
