My sweet niece Jaylie was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer a few weeks ago. My sister in law went in for what they thought would be getting glasses, but Jaylie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. There really were no signs except for her having a hard time seeing the two weeks prior to her appointment.
Jaylie is 5 years old, and is the daughter of Cody's twin brother Kip. Lexi and Jaylie were blessed on the same day, and they were born only 6 days apart. Kajsa and I found out we were pregnant on the same day with Lexi and Jaylie. Jaylie holds such a special place in our hearts, so this was really hard news to hear because she feels like our own child. When you have such a close family all of your nieces and nephews are like your own kids. Kip and Kajsa have had so much faith, and Jaylie is doing amazing, considering her diagnosis. She has recovered from her surgery so well, and doesn't show hardly any signs that she had brain surgery a little over a week ago. You realize how precious life is, and how you need to hold and squeeze your little ones extra tight everyday. Since this has happened it makes you appreciate your kids, family, husband, and the gospel even more. You realize how precious these little children are that we are so lucky to be entrusted to. We love this little girl, and we are so glad she has such great parents to help her get through this. We love her to pieces and it breaks our hearts that she has to endure this trial.

Jaylie will begin radiation and chemo for 6 weeks, and then just chemo for 6-9 months. She is very strong, determined, and sweet, so we know these are all great qualities for her to have to get through this. We love sweet Jaylie so much, and it is really hard to know what she will have to endure in the upcoming months. We wish we were closer to be more help. Please pray for our sweet little niece, and also for Kip and Kajsa. As a mom you know how much you love each of your kids, and the thought of them being sick, experiencing pain, and not being able to take it away is so hard.

These are such cute pictures of Jaylie. She is so innocent and it just doesn't seem right that little children have to go through these trials. She is so blessed to have such a great family. Thanks for sharing her recovery blog. I hope she will feel the love and support of so many friends and family and the many prayers in her behalf.
Oh my gosh I can't believe this. It makes me sad to think of all these sweet little kids that have to go through this as well as the family. She will be in our prayers.
