Life

I love moments in life that help you put everything into perspective. It hasn't been any big moments, but the earthquake in Japan, seeing everything my sister is going through right now with her pregnancy, watching my kids play and grow, and serving in the primary presidency. It makes you realize who is really in charge, and it's definitely not us! I am so glad I have the gospel and almost everyday I receive some sort of confirmation that the gospel is true. I realize how lucky I am to have it, and what a huge roll it is playing in my life and the life of my kids. I'm thankful for the knowledge we have of the plan of salvation, and it's amazing how much love you can have for people on the other side of the world. I'm thankful to be apart of a church that serves all the time! I'm thankful that my sister has people in her ward watching out for her, and it's really amazing how willing everyone is to pitch in. It makes you realize what really matters. It's not our beautiful homes, the stuff we have, or money. I know as long as my family stays in tact, and we can be together forever that is all that really matters.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
