Korver 7 months

Can my cute little chubby cheeked boy really be almost 8 months! I say this every month, but I really want to freeze time with this sweet little boy! He has me wrapped around his finger and I can't get enough of his big smiles, or his laugh. He is spoiled by our whole family, because everybody just loves him, and I'm sure he gets a few too many kisses between the 4 of us. He is LOVED what can I say! He is entertained all day, and Lexi and Trey want to know where he is all the time.

Korver has started eating real food and loves vegetables more than fruit, and still absolutely hates rice cereal (even if it's mixed with fruit). He loves it when he gets a little taste of bread, his puffs, and really wants what we are eating. He still loves his milk the most, but I can tell he's going to love eating when he gets a taste of the real stuff. He is starting to army crawl, and will get himself up to crawl and will go forward then fall. I think he will be crawling soon, but for now he rolls and scoots to get wherever he wants to go! He is now in 18 month clothes, and weighs a little over 20 lbs. He loves toys that sing to him, but is petrified of Lexi's pig bank. It oinks, wiggles it's ears, and squeals every time you put money in it. Korver screams, cries, then won't take his eyes off of it, every time it goes off. I think he thinks it's going to get him.

He loves to be outside, and his red hair is turning brown! He has big brown eyes, and long eye lashes just like Trey. They remind me a lot of each other, but Korver is just a much bigger version of Trey when Trey was his age. My friends always say Korver is not very good birth control, and I have to agree. He definitely makes me want another one, but not for a few more years! I am loving the 3 year gap, but I know I'm not finished yet. We love you Korver bug, and you are our snugly little teddy bear. You bring a lot of smiles, and love wherever you go!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
