Happy 31st Birthday Cody

We celebrated Cody's birthday this last week and I can't believe he is 31!! I say this a lot but I am married to a good man. He is the best helper around the house, with the kids, and works so hard for us. I never have to ask him to do much he just does it when he can see that I need help, and I appreciate all he does. He loves his kids to pieces and they love him just as much. I feel so lucky to have him in my life. I Love you hun!!
For his birthday Cody and I enjoyed the whole day with just the two of us. It was so much fun just hanging out and being able to do whatever we wanted. We started the day off by working out together at the gym (something we don't get to do very often b/c of Cody's work schedule), then we headed to Chili's to celebrate with some good food and our favorite..chocolate molten cake!! We then went to see G.I. Joe at the movie theatre, and to finish off the day we enjoyed a couple's massage. It was heavenly and so relaxing!! Since we didn't get to celebrate with the kids we grilled out the next weekend and enjoyed a yummy key lime cheesecake so they could sing to Cody. Happy birthday Cody!! You mean the world to us and we love you SO much. Here's to many more birthdays to come.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
