Phoenix Zoo

On Saturday we went to the zoo before it gets too hot to go. We had so much fun and it was a beautiful day. The best part was going to Costa Vida afterwards, one of my favorite places to eat...YUMMY!! The weather has been awesome since September, and now we are getting ready for the HOT summer. It seems bearable b/c the rest of the year is perfect. I love waking up to the sunshine everyday, but it will stink when it starts to get really hot in the next month. I guess thats one plus of my parents living in Wyoming. The Wyoming summers are great, so I plan on going back home for a few weeks this summer to get out of the heat.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
