Our Fun Vacation to Texas

Last week we all flew to Texas to spend a week with Kip, Kajsa, and Jaylene. We had so much fun, and it was great to have Cody around for a week!! Kip is Cody's twin brother, and he is in dental school out in San Antonio. Kip was on his spring break, so we had a fun week of exploring San Antonio and Austin. Grandma Jaylene flew in half way through our stay, and the kids were so excited to see her. The girls absolutely loved her!! We were so glad we had the chance to see her again!!
Kip and Kajsa were so good to us during our stay and took us lots of fun places. They are so fun to be with, and I always have such a good time hanging out with Kajsa. We have so much in common, and the week went by too fast. They were so generous and Texas is beautiful. Cody and Kip are two of a kind, and I still found myself glancing at them twice to make sure I was talking to the right one. Kajsa's family was nice enough to let us stay at their home in Austin, and we had so much fun swimming, shopping, and eating at yummy restaurants!! Lexi kept calling Kajsa's parents house the farm, because they have horses and cows. Lexi and Jaylie had such a ball together and the day we were flying home Lexi broke down and kept telling me she didn't want to go back home. She loved playing with Jaylie and they were hilarious together. They are definitely best buds!! Thanks again for letting us come and stay at your home. We love you guys so much and your girls are so adorable. We are lucky to have such great family!!

While we were in Texas Lexi bore her testimony for the first time. She loves to bear her testimony to us, and kept saying the last month that she wanted to get up in church and say her testimony in the microphone. We didn't think she would really do it because she is very cautious in front of crowds. We were sitting in church when she notices on her very own that it is fast and testimony meeting. She leans over to Cody and tells him she wants to get up and share her testimony. Cody took her up expecting her to chicken out, but she didn't even flinch and gave her sweet little testimony. It made me cry and I was so proud of my little girl. She loves the gospel, and in the tub the other day she was telling Trey about the Holy Ghost. I learn so much from my little girl everyday, and I just love her so much.

Pictures to come
