Daddy Daughter Date

Last Saturday Cody wanted to take Lexi to the daddy daughter party they had at the church. Lexi was so excited and the first thing she asked, "do you think they will have cake there mommy." She is so hilarious. All afternoon she kept telling me how excited she was to go to the daddy daughter party. I think she probably asked at least ten times why mommies couldn't go to the party. I told I was sad I couldn't go, but that Trey and I would have fun at home. After the party I asked Lexi what they did and she said, "we had some burgers, carrots, played games, and I danced with daddy." I guess on the way home she told Cody, "I missed mommy at the daddy daughter party." She is so cute!! I'm so glad Cody wanted to take her, because even though she is only three, it makes her feel so special going by herself places.

Tell cody the yard looks awesome! Are you sure you didnt pay an illegal to do that? It seriously looks great! You should drive up this week. Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
