Super Bowl 2009

Last week was the super bowl and our home town Cardinals made us proud, even though they didn't pull out a victory!! We went over to some friends house and it was so much fun to watch the game with die hard Cardinal fans. There was a big crowd and everyone was so excited!! Trey kept walking around clapping, and Lexi was so exhausted by the end of the night, that she actually fell asleep even with all the cheering and clapping going on. We were so disappointed that they lost, but it was fun to see and hear the excitement around Arizona in the days leading up to the big game. Arizona has been such a fun place to live thus far, and the weather has been gorgeous. You can't beat 70 degree weather in January and February!! GO CARDINALS

NAT said...: Wow. I'm SO behind on blogging! I'm glad you had a good time on Super Bowl Sunday. We're losers and didn't do anything fun. Although, we didn't really know either team this year, we were rooting for Arizona, as well. Speaking of Arizona, I'm wishing I were there today. Hey Sorry I didn't get to talkto you on Lexi's B-day but I'm glad that Hallee and Lexi got to talk... we were on our way to Wal-Mart Today and there is "Pumba" from the lion King there that HAllee likes to ride and I said hey do you wanna go ride on Pumba? Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
