New House

I haven't posted in awhile because we have been in the process of moving into our NEW home!! It has been a little stressful trying to close and move in before Christmas, but we did it and I absolutely love it!! My kids are so happy having more space, and our neighbors have been so wonderful. I think we moved into a great neighborhood and I'm excited to get to know our neighbors better. The first Monday we were here our neighborhood had a hot chocolate party, and people have been so gracious to have us over for dinner and bring us yummy treats. We are really excited because we got our home for such a great deal, and after looking at so many homes we feel so blessed to have found this one. We have been waiting a long time to get into a home, and now have enough room for any visitors wanting to come to Arizona!! I'm so excited to celebrate Christmas in our new home, and we look forward to having all of Cody's family here for the holidays.

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
