St. George Trip

We went to St. George this last weekend to see my new nephew Carter be blessed. It was so neat be a part of his special day and also be there for Hallee's birthday. We were so glad that we could make the trip to see everyone, and we had so much fun!! We spent the weekend with my little brother Todd's family, and we had such a good time with them. We appreciate them letting us stay at their house. The weekend went by too fast, but while we were there we got to go 4-wheeling, to the splash park, and eat at a few good restaurants. I love spending time with family and it was nice to have Cody along for the ride. Trey got really sick on the way home, and on Tuesday night we ended up taking him to the emergency room. He is still having a tough time recovering, but it seems to be a very bad case of the flu. He LOVES food and when he doesn't want to eat we know something is wrong. Lexi is still asking when we are going back to St. George to see everybody!! I guess that means we need some visitors down this way real soon!!

Lexi's Funny Moments

9/15/08- Lexi asked Cody if he had to go to work, and he said yes. He asked her why daddy has to work and she said, "because it takes a lot of money."
9/21/08-Lexi had her pretend cell phone out, when all of the sudden I hear her say "oh no I missed a call."
10/15/08-Lexi opened our front door and said "mommy, it smells like elephants out here." It did smell like cow poop outside pretty bad. I had to laugh.
10/23/08- Lexi is playing with her mr. potato head elmo doll. She puts on the mustache and says, "look mommy and daddy, he has a musmache." We couldn't stop laughing.
10/24/08-Lately when Lexi can't get Cody's attention she will first try daddy, and then she will say "hey Cody." She is getting pretty smart!
11/13/08-I asked Lexi if she wanted to go to preschool one day and she said "no, I just want to stay at home with you mommy."
11/13/08- Every night Lexi tells us the sprinkler is bothering her. Cody has to get up on her bed talk to the sprinkler on her ceiling and tell it to be nice so Lexi can go to sleep.
11/13/08-The other day Lexi wasn't up from her nap yet and Trey went to her door and layed by it. Whenever she isn't up he always goes over to her door and starts tapping on it.
